Loving Day celebrates the legalization of interracial marriage after the 1967 Supreme Court case, Loving v. Virginia. Loving Day was founded to commemorate this historical milestone and “to fight racial prejudice through education and to build multicultural community”.

MIX (Wesleyan's mixed heritage student group) and Loving Day founder, Ken Tanabe, are hosting a potluck picnic lunch on the CFA Green this Saturday, April 23 from 1:30-4pm.
