When and Where is the Celebration?
Come celebrate the legacy of the Loving v. Virginia (1967) US Supreme Court case, a landmark decision that ruled all anti-miscegenation statutes unconstitutional. Because of Loving v. Virginia, all interracial marriages are recognized in every state!
A FREE catered dinner will be served in the Mwangi Cultural Center, located on the first floor of the Davis Center. Joining us will be Ken Tanabe, leader of the Loving Day project.
During dinner, test your knowledge of mixed heritage history and culture with MIXED HERITAGE JEOPARDY! Compete by yourself or with a team of friends for a special prize.
