MediaIt still shocks me that the ruling to allow marriage between races was overturned within my lifetime. We have been happily married for 12 years (my husband is white, I am black). We are best friends and love each other deeply. I cannot imagine going through what the Lovings did and we THANK them profusely for paving the way in order for us to be together proudly and without fear!!
