This will be the first ever Loving Day Celebration in Kansas! We have Hyde Park Shelter confirmed. It is just south of Douglas and west of Hydraulic. The time is 5 to 9 pm.
If you would like more information or would like to help, please email or RSVP and we will let you know what we need. I will also send emails when plans are updated or changed.
We have hot dogs and drinks donated by Delano Bakery (www.delanobakery.com/), Lisa Riley and Janet Wilson. We also have an ice cream truck coming to sell ice cream in the evening.

After The Event
Great turnout for a first attempt! About 40 people came to share their stories and eat hot dogs. We were joined by City Council Member Lavonta Williams and State Senator Oletha Faust-Goudeau. We had a great time and are planning on our next event, Loving Day Wichita 2011.
