Children's Loving Day

Exhibit inside the Library "The History of Loving Day"

Angel costume contest for children in community room along with a reading from author Cornelia Brown's book "Constance the Little Angel Wants Curls," introduction to Loving Day and a session for parents on how to teach diversity at home, how to answer questions about multiracial families and how to find information and literature to share with your child. Followed by a writing contest "A Letter to My Angel." The winner will have their story presented by Author Cornelia Brown on WIGO AM radio and will receive a summer reading package with a diverse group of authors donating their books for this cause.
